*From the Heart of Liverpool 8* is the third publication collecting poetry, prose, illustrations, and paper cut art from "the long neglected talent of the ordinary Black people of Liverpool 8." Themes explored in the work include the legacy of slavery, racism, black embodiment, police violence, the death of Stephen Bantu Biko, black suffering, religion, and domestic life.
